John Lackey allowed 2 hits while giving up 1 walk and collecting 7 strikeouts as Arizona blanked Los Angeles (N) 4-0.

In the postgame interview Lackey said, "I'm trying to keep the ball down and let guys put it in play. It worked for me today."
